Due to Federal Government restrictions during this time of pandemic, Weddings & Funerals being held at St Clement's must adhere to the following directives:

• ensure four square metres per person in enclosed spaces.

• keep a distance of 1.5 metres between each attendee.

• avoid all physical contact, including handshaking.

• suspend catering (tea, coffee, supper etc).

• practice good hygiene, including cleaning surfaces (door handles, tables, chairs, books) before and after gatherings.

• practice good hand and respiratory hygiene.

• individuals to stay away if feeling unwell, even if mildly so.

Restrictions are also being placed on the number of attendees at weddings - no more than five people are permitted which includes the couple, celebrant and witnesses.

Restrictions are also being placed on the number of attendees at funerals - a maximum of 10 people with no more than one person per 4 square metres, except if an exemption is granted on compassionate grounds by the Chief Health Officer. A maximum of 3 people can conduct the funeral service in addition to the 10 attendees.

Unfortunately, following the Queensland Government advice issued on Sunday 22 March 2020, baptism and confirmation services (both indoors and outdoors) are to be suspended for the time being regardless of the size of the group or social distancing measures.
